Melissa Lozoff has worked for over 20 years in film, television and theater. She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and worked for years in Hollywood as a professional actress, before moving to North Carolina. In 2001 Melissa founded Movie Makers, an organization dedicated to helping children and teens create art through film and theater. Through Movie Makers, Melissa has written and directed over 200 short films with her students. Recently Melissa was hired to produce and direct a Television Web series Helen Sweetheart of the Internet. The pilot episode was very successful and Melissa was hired to direct the next 12 episodes.

CALEB EMERY

Caleb Emery was raised and currently resides in the small town of Mount Dora, Florida. Graduating from Christian Home and Bible school Caleb decided to continue his education at a near by college. He began to work in the entertainment business as a production assistant and directors assistant on a local feature film in 2010. Caleb had the opportunity to make a cameo appearance in it and that’s where he built his love for acting. He landed his first uncredited role in the film Step Up Revolution in 2012. Caleb started working on as much as he could get a hold of including commercials and short films all while doing school and training to perfect is newly found gift. He quickly scored his second film and first credited role in A Matter of Time (2013) starring Kevin Sorbo and Shelley Long. He continued on with his quickly uprising career filming upcoming feature films The Diner (2014) and Blue (2014).

Lucia will be seen in the role of Rosa Sandoval in Meg Ryan’s directorial debut film ITHACA – coming out next year. She also plays Dr. Samuels in the ABC/Fox series The Red Band Society – to air Nov 26. Lucia also shared the screen with Maggie Gyllenhaal in the film Won’t Back Down.

Coming Through the Rye” was a great experience with writer/director James Sadwith, casting director Erica Arvold, producer Sarah Elizabeth Timmins, & a great crew, on a great script. In new york James has worked opposite Edward Norton, F Murray Abraham, Denis O’Hare, Barbara Feldon and louis Zorich. He is seen in Law & Order, N.Y. Daytime, and BBC and in Bartenders; Outer Critic’s Circle nominated solo show, alternated with author Lou Mustillo.

Ed started his acting career 60 years ago and has enjoyed an exciting life acting onstage (Canada and the US) and in film. He also taught and directed at a well known (they beat Michigan) Regional University and many of his students are now working on and Off-Broadway and in the Television and Film industry as actors and writers. One of his recent films “A Way Back Home” with Danny Glover was nominated by Hallmark for an Emmy award. Ed is excited to be working with James Sadwith on his amazing adventure of a boy (the exciting young star Alex Wolff) ‘coming through the rye’ to find J.D. Salinger and himself.

Michael Siberry was born in 1956 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. He is an actor, known for Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014), If Looks Could Kill (1991) and Biggles: Adventures in Time (1986).

JACOB LEINBACH

AS HANK MARCUS

Jacob Leinbach is an American actor who began acting at the age of six as “Theo” in a local theater production of “Pippin”. He went on to perform in a series of short films for the University of North Carolina School of the Arts including the award winning WWII short “Kilroy was Here”.

Jacob can be seen as the Vice President’s son in the sci-fi thriller “Eyeborgs” and as “Brad” in the award winning coming of age drama “The Wise Kids”. Jacob was cast as “Mick” in the film adaptation of the novel “Ender’s Game” and as “Tad” in the award winning television show “Homeland”.

In the summer of 2013 Jacob was cast as John Brinkman in the film “Locker 212″. According to author Josh Barkey “Locker 212 is an exploration of how making real, human connections with our most lost and hurting kids can help us alleviate the bullying and gun violence that have plagued our schools”. That summer Jacob also had the privilege of working with one of his favorite actresses, Loretta Devine, in “Teachers” aka “Saving Westbrook High”.

Jacob’s favorite school subjects are science, as well as, history, which made being cast as “Newt” in the new Revolutionary War series “Turn” an incredible experience.

Jacob’s favorite pastimes include drumming, cooking Italian food, and listening to Bach, Beethoven and the Beatles

Jacob was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Michael and Leigh Ann Leinbach. He has an older brother and sister-in-law, Garrett and Ariel Hatfield. He resides in North Carolina with his parents and beloved pets, Labrador Retriever Casey and rabbit Midnight.
